Are you looking for a way to reach out with Christ's love?
My wife and I visited with Pastor Gary Martin recently. We saw the wonderful work the Lord is doing through him and the ministry of Christo El Salvador in Del Rio. If you're interested in helping, here are a few ideas:
* Pray for him, his family, and his congregation. As they reach into Acuna, Mexico, more prayer support is needed.
* Volunteer to help teach English as a second language. If you know someone who can commit to several weeks of service, this will help open doors to sharing the Gospel.
* Pastor Martin could use a four-wheel-drive vehicle. Cindy and I took a harrowing ride with Pastor Martin to a neighborhood in Mexico where new ministry is beginning. We scaled a rocky hill and plunged down the other side to reach the area. Our ascent back to civilization up the rocky slope at full speed rivaled a Six-Flags adventure! AND ALL OF THIS TOOK PLACE IN A CHURCH VAN! If you know of a new or used vehicle that can be donated to help with Pastor Martin's ministry, please be in touch with him.
