November is National Adoption Month

Why Wait? November is National Adoption Month. Have you been waiting for someone to give you a child? Does your heart ache to hear the words, “Mom” or “Dad”? This November, stop waiting! It’s time to take action during National Adoption Month. Nationally, more than one third of Americans have considered adoption. Sadly, fewer than 2 percent have actually opened their hearts and homes to a precious child.

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services has contracted with LSS to find loving homes for more than 6,375 waiting children in TDFPS conservatorship. These children are waiting for you to love them, to raise them, to be their forever family. If God is stirring your heart to welcome these children and youth into your home, please visit http://www.lsss.org, and click on Children, to view the children in Texas who are available for adoption.
